The Baba & Kids Indaba is in full swing at the Cape Town International Convention Centre. As always, this popular expo is everything but a let down. Busy moms with prams and tots are seen everywhere enjoying the stalls of quality suppliers advertising their useful products and services. From famous baby product brands and toys such as TLC, Hello Kitty, Cuddlers, Oros, MySchool and the MTN Science Centre to name a few. Even H20 has a presence to keep the 1000's of happy visitors hydrated the healthy way.
Well organised indeed, with nappy change stations, well facilitated restrooms and playpens to keep the little ones entertained to rid that extra energy. For the hungry, a food hall is available offering a healthy menu consisting of wraps, sandwiches, sushi, light lunches and delicious desserts. Candy floss, cup cakes and other kiddies' delights are available, as well as coffee stations where dad can top up on that all needed cappuccino.
The Amazing Vouchers stall is busy - moms are signing up for a free one-month complimentary Smart membership and receiving a free sample pack from Purity and Tiger Brands, whilst the kids play on the Nintendo Wii station. Be sure to pop by to claim your share of amazing value!
If you are pregnant, you can have a 4D scan done to see your little one live onscreen. Wellness Warehouse has a display of organic and environmentally friendly baby products for those who are earth conscious, and SABC Education's Takalani Sesame perform live shows to entertain the family. Kids may even have their pictures taken with their favourite Takalani Sesame characters afterwards!
Be sure to visit the expo from 23 - 25 July 2010 at the CTICC.
